Safdarjung's Tomb 

La petite sœur d'Humayun's Tomb se dresse de l'autre côté de Lodi Road, à quelques centaines de mètres des monuments de la dynastie des Lodi éparpillés dans le superbe Lodi Garden.

Bien moins entretenue qu'Humayun's Tomb, Safdarjung's Tomb surprend par ses motifs floraux éparpillés ici et là au gré d'une colonne ou d'un plafond. La coupole évoque un bulbe de fleur et rappelle la féminité du Taj Mahal bien que la densité des ornements soit plus faible. Dix ans après mon arrivée à Delhi, petite visite d'un autre témoin de l'empire Moghol.
